I don’t have an account but I have an amazing Mondaine clock story. My Mondaine clock was in the kitchen of my home in Arabi, La when the levy broke and the clock stopped when the water reached it. Eventually, there was 16 ft. of water in my home as a result of Hurricane Katrina. When I finally made my way back to my home, I took the clock off the wall, dug for anything else I could find and very carefully put what was left in my car. I took my clock to 2 repair shops and they both looked at me as if I was crazy. This was ruined and could not be fixed. The clock was very rusty and the cradle with the battery on the back looked really, really bad. I had cleaned the mud from the glass face. I just couldn’t throw this clock away. So back it went into the trunk of my car. I forgot about it. I was selling my car and found the clock and again could not throw it away. I brought it into my apartment and decided to try to put a fresh battery into it. It came back to life immediately. What amazing quality. I used fine steel wool to get most of the rust off and its back on my new kitchen wall. I would love to pass this story to Mondaine and tell them what an amazing product they make.
