My friends and family are calling me from Switzerland telling me about the catastrophical floods that are currently happening over there. My mom’s store, thank god, has not been flooded, but she knows a lot of people who pretty much lost everything to the water. Hundreds of people had to be evacuated from their homes after days of torrential rainfall. The picture above is showcasing what shopping in downtown Lucerne is like these days. People with waders are well off.

bride and groom in the subway

Swiss researchers have developed the world’s most economical car that could circle the globe on only eight litres of fuel. The Pac-Car uses hydrogen fuel cell technology and was developed by a team at the Swiss Federal Technical University headed by Professor Lino Guzzella.
