How incredibly cool is this dad that paints/draws on lunch bags during his lunch break for his kids every single day?

  1. My pop used to do this, but that was in the 70s and 80s, and the style was much more of the time. Abstract, graphic shapes, etc. Awesome stuff. I’ll have to dig them up next time I’m back home.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

  2. I decided it was eco-friendlier for my kids to use lunch boxes but still wanted to add a little something to their lunch experience. So I trace coloring book characters (or my own caricature of them) with a sharpie on their clear plastic sandwich or snack bags. It’s quicker, and anyone can trace color book line art. And it encourages my kids to save the bags, which I’ll reuse if it was a dry snack bag.

My kids are currently in K and 2nd grade, so I may only have a few years before that’s deemed “lame.” Enjoy

  3. creative parents rock! :D

  4. I like drawing funny pics of the family or of something fun we did together. The kids always get a big kick from their love notes/drawings.
