Explored a while back by Ian Wright also – where I’d have to say I prefer the more graphic employment of the technique. I’m not sure what crayons add to Christian’s photo realistic pieces, especially when he’s tailoring all the tones himself (if that’s what ‘hand cast encaustic crayons’ mean?)
