Why on-line when pretty much every scanner sold is bundled with OCR software?

Yes, it’s free, but most likely, I would use Acrobat to do that.

I use the scanner a lot to convert pdf files into editable text documents so that my students with reading difficulties shall be able to convert the texts into sound.
This takes a lot of time and I am hoping this service will make things easier for me. Unfortunately the site was down now when I was going to try it. I look forward to trying it though to see how well it works.
