Under or on the desk, next to the computer, or behind the TV, loose tangled cables are always untidy dust traps. CableBox is the solution to solve these issues. Simply place your power strips or surge protector inside CableBox. No need to unplug anything first. Then stow away the surplus cable lengths, close the lid and done. Designed with cable outlets either side of the box, CableBox will fit almost every size power strip with extra space for the cords, adapters, etc. BlueLounge Cable Box hides your cable mess. Yes, please! Ordered!
Seriously one of the best things I have ever purchased… especially great if you have kids.

I made the same thing out a “island style” box from cost plus world market. The box had holes for handles, on the sides, so it worked perfectly. My only issue with my DYI version is the box get hot. (I put my cable modem in it).

Even better than a nice white box is NO box:

I bought one about a year ago but i replaced them no with a belkin surgeprotector.

It`s two things combined – and a bit smaller.
If you just have to put some cables in, it might be the better choice …

Really nice solution. The Belkin is great, too.

We have really too much cable in our living room, but since they are stuck in two of these cable-boxes it looks way “calmer” behind our sideboard – we love them.

Lovely design. But this really is a $30 shoebox. Doesn’t even come with a surge protector. Find a white box from ikea (those CD boxes) and cut some long slits down both sides. Voila. Not as nice as this, but in these ecnomical times, it’ll do in a pinch. :)
