South Africa’s Kulula airlines recently received the rebranding treatment from creative agency Atmosphere when they applied this 101 guide to the various parts of the airplane. Made me smile. Found over at PSFK.

This is pretty fun. At least gives you something new to look at while waiting to board.

Covered the same story on my blog.Kulula’s new brand is audacious and it’s got us all talking on the web.I was trying to track conversation about the story and there’s a lot of positivity about this new brand.Everybody wants a piece of this pie;they want to see more photos of the new Kulula livery, read more stories and the best part:they want to travel and experience Kulula.Bragging rights go to Kulula and Atmosphere design.

Love the ‘all green’ colouring, very modern and fresh.

Hmmm, I’m not sure pointing out the location of the black box is a good thing. It reminds you that; “Oh yeah, this thing might crash”.

Wow, I love it! It would make me suddenly sound like an airplane genius to my little boy (who, luckily, can’t read yet).

It is not done by Atmoshphere. The work was done in-house by Kulul’s design team. The paint job was done in Ireland. Its a picture of one of Kulula’s new 737-800 in Ireland leaving to make its way back to South Africa.
