Yes, when you grab the embed code from Vimeo, they give you the option to choose a custom resolution of your choice. Whatever the width is of your main column, set that for the width of the video. Vimeo will update both the Width and Height in the embed code. The video should then show correctly and not crop the right side of the video. Hope that helps :)
