In 2011, Sarah Kay performed her poem “B” at the TED conference in Long Beach, California to standing ovations. I remember watching her talk for the first time, completely mesmerized and moved. Her fantastic talk has now been turned into a book:
Originally written in 2007, “B” is a thank you note, a love letter, a wish, a promise, a confession, and a secret. “B” is the perfect gift for every mother and every daughter. Short, touching and lovingly illustrated by Sophia Janowitz.
The incredibly charming Sarah Kay has been a performing poet since she was 14 years old. She is the founder of Project V.O.I.C.E, teaching poetry and self-expression at schools across the United States.
Order the book. Watch Sarah’s moving TED talk:
Ooh I love her! If only the book could be found anywhere else (bookdepository.com, for instance). Amazon shipping fee is ridiculous to my country!

Oh God there can never be any inspiring than Sarah’s talk on stage. She really made this type of connection that will end in a way that she could create the feeling and the eagerness to wait for her next talk on stage.

I had the chance of seeing her speak before a crown way back when we were in US. It was the most inspiring talk I have ever witnessed and I went home with so much optimism in my heart. The word that day was “overwhelmed”.

Thank you, I’ve just been looking for info approximately this topic for ages and yours is the best I’ve found out till now. But, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you sure about the source?|What i don’t realize is in truth how you are no longer actually a lot more neatly-appreciated than you might be right now. You are very intelligent.

When I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked the
-Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox
and from now on every time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails
with the exact same comment. Perhaps there is an easy method you can remove me from
that service? Thank you!
