PSFK has a lovely profile series called Free Radicals in which they profile ‘courageous creatives whose bold thinking freed them from business as usual”. I am honored that they believe I fall into this category. Managing editor Dory Carr-Harris sat down with me at Studiomates a few weeks and you can read the essence of our conversation in this blog post.
A big thank you goes to Catalina Kulczar who managed to so wonderfully portray Studiomates and Tattly.
Tina, eres una gran inspiración. Cuando llegué a vivir a Uruguay no había ningún blog de diseño y pensé, tiene que haber algo como swiss-miss pero local. Y lo hicimos. gracias!!

Great article, for so many reasons. I once told friends that a drawer full of buttons would be fantastic, but they just laughed. Now I want to (at the very least) get a jar full of buttons to put on my desk at work. A reminder to myself that being playful and creative is amazing and important.

I identify so much with the response about being strong in starting ideas and not so much with the details. I suspect many do so, but I think we’ve been conditioned to think that the one-man or one-woman follow-through approach is the only true way to succeed and do your job well. So glad to see other creatives turning that upside down and illustrating how vulnerability with others can showcase our own talents in brilliant combination – rather than mediocre competition – with others.

fantastic issues altogether, you just won a new reader.
What would you suggest about your publish that you made a few days ago?
