Wow… that story on leaf blowers spoke to me. I hate them. HATE. The gas powered ones are by far the loudest and most annoying. My neighbor is out there every single day clearing hers and her neighbors yard of any micro trace of a leaf, even attempting to blow them from the trees. It’s fall here in Kentucky, there are going to be leaves. I’m convinced she just likes to play with that thing. The sporadic up and down sounds that I find impossible to drown out are maddening. The Devil’s Hairdryer indeed.
