This movie, Logan’s Run, made such an impression on me as a kid. I guess I was about 14 the last time I saw it with my dad. Excited to watch it again and re-experience it with a grown-up-point-of-view.

If you haven’t been, and are ever in the Fort Worth area, several scenes from this film were shot in the Water Gardens park downtown. It’s a magical, weird, amazing architectural experience, especially if you’re a fan of Logan’s Run! Definitely recommend!

One of my favorite movies! I own it since well over a decade and it’s still as brilliant a retro-future movie as ever.

I just re-watched this movie after seeing it at about the same age as you did, and it seemed to me that much of the supposed social commentary is negated by the ham-handed delivery of those concepts. Plus… the ‘companion’ lottery transporter thing… what did that contribute to the plot again?
