What a cool changing table, no? It’s been created using an inexpensive car-tools cart by Sunex Tools. In addition to looking great, it’s on wheels which means they can tuck the changer into corners and move it wherever it is needed.

Personality Socks
Socks for your Chairs by Chris Ruby. Made me chuckle!
deskhouse
Gasp-for-air-this-is-so-cool: Deskhouse. Your kids can use the roof as a desk to draw or write upon, and when they need a break, the structure instantly becomes the perfect shelter for playing or reading underneath.
Pine Folding Table
Made of pine with collapsible legs, this low coffee table is suitable for any décor. Or I’d like to use one of these as a kid’s crafts table that can be put away.
alma urban cot/crib
Bloom’s Alma is a beautifully designed folding wooden crib, with stainless steel detailing, that is the perfect choice for parents looking to bring a little contemporary chic to the nursery or home. Alma has two mattress heights combining the benefits of a newborn bassinet or cradle with a cot/crib; a modern easy folding bed that can be used from newborn to two years.
Knoll Kids
KnollStudio®, a division of Knoll, Inc., renowned for its collection of classic and enduring designs for the workplace and the home, announced the launch of knoll kids, a children’s modern furniture collection.
StudioDesk
StudioDesk has been specifically designed for laptop users and allows for a clutter free working environment while still connected to all your peripherals. This is music to my ears!

Caged Light
Lamp in a Birdcage. Beautiful!
Please put your socks in ‘S’.
Inspired by vintage printing blocks, this beautifully finished chest of 26 drawers is made from solid oak – the perfect place to file everything from A-Z! (Yes, this dresser made me gasp for air!)

Rain Collector
HERO is a Toronto based company that creates extraordinary products, one in particular is the RC-1 Rain Collector. It holds 45 gallons of water; so you can tend to your garden or wash the dog without tapping into the city’s water supply. What a beauty!
ICFF 09 | Plate Shelf
Leave it to architects to come up with really cool modular furniture. I love (!) this Plate Shelf by nArchitects.
ICFF 09 | My Personal Highlight: ergoErgo
My personal favorite of this year’s ICFF was the ergoErgo by Alan Heller. I am a big believer in ‘active sitting’ and used to sit on a big gymnastics ball all through my university years. Why not here in my studio? I couldn’t find a red yoga/gymanstics ball. Can you imagine how I was rejoicing to discover ergoErgo that comes in bright orangy/red? How perfect for our studio!
ICFF 09 | Loadbearing
Every year I walk up to the Loadbearing booth, wondering: When will I ever have one of these fantastic shelves in my studio or home? And if this was Twitter I’d hashtag it #most_awesome_shelving_system ever.
ICFF 09 | Andrew Moe
I give Studio Moe two thumbs up for its clean simple lines. If I was in the market for a new dining table or writing desk, I’d be giving Andrew Moe a call.
ICFF 09 | NakedLine
Jaime Salm and Stephen Cooke’s Naked Line made me look. Naked Line is a cabinet that proudly reveals the sustainable materials we have come to hide. Taking advantage of the color, texture and cost efficiency of formaldehyde-free particleboard, this cabinet represents a naked and honest approach to affordable furniture. Made from 100 percent pre-consumer waste wood, this piece has sturdy sliding doors and back panels made from powder-coated steel.
ICFF 09 | Wastebin
Yes, I can get excited over a beautifully designed Waste Bin, like this one, by Grace Youngeun Lee.
ICFF 09 | modkat
If I had a cat, I’d most certainly own a Modkat Litterbox.
ICFF 09 | Mikado Coatstand
The Mikado Coatstand by Nicolas Bovesse made my minimalist heart go a beat faster. Lovely.
Origami inspired stool
The ISA stool, by Bear and Lion, was originally inspired by origami. It was crafted as though it were a sheet of paper with subtle folds that provide this seat both structural rigidity and comfort. Multiples are cut from a single piece of sheet steel in a process that produces minimal waste.

Buclo Foam Cloud
I am completely smitten with Buclo’s Foam Clouds. Yes, please!
tumble
TUMBLE is a chair that playfully suggests to be flipped. Hotel lobbies, gallery spaces, and resort pools are some of the public spaces that tumble can add color and vibrancy, but it is also whimsical enough for a child to roll around on at home. Made me smile!
