The MASH Studios LAX Free Standing Shelf has a casual feeling to it–no fussy ornamentation, no visible hardware … no legs or door handles. (The aluminum doors slide in grooves on the top of the unit.) It’s pretty much all about clean planes and casual materials. Unless you get the walnut version, in which case it’s pretty much all about clean planes and seriously grown-up materials. Either way, you’re good.
Simple and beautifully crafted desk by Martin Holzapfel.

“Rust-Oleum Dry Erase Paint is a smooth, hard finish that creates a unique white writeable-erasable surface. Once dry, simply use any dry erase markers to draw or write messages and then erase! Application is easy and it has minimal odor making it safe to use indoors. Ideal for use on interior surfaces such as drywall, masonite, wood, cement, metal.”

This Rolling Bench design is ingenious! The slats on these benches can rotate to the dry side by cranking the handle. Fantastic! Fabuloso! Wunderbar! Major hat tip to the designers: Designer: Sungwoo Park, Yoonha Paick, Jongdeuk Son, Banseok Yoon, Eunbi Cho & Minjung Sim

This clothes rack is so cool. WOW!
I am a huge fan of picture rails as they allow you to be playful and easily re-arrange art pieces. The swissmiss family is going to be moving in a few weeks and I am hoping to be seeing some of these Gus Design Group Picture Rails in the new swissmiss home soon. Wheee!
Edouard Larmaraud’s Take Away Bed is a reinterpretation of the concept of hospitality. In the past it was known that farmers welcomed the travellers in their homes but with the developpement of the city those rites have disappeared.
I don’t understand a word, but I am sure loving all the beautiful rugs that are displayed on this blog. I especially love this one called Woody Wood.
I was so excited to re-discover Tub Trugs in today’s Apartment Therapy email. I’ve seen them before, at my friend Kate’s house and loved them, especially for toy storage!
Tub Trugs are awesome flexible plastic storage bins that were designed for outdoor use, but are great and just as perfect for home use. They start at around $8 each for the small size and go up to medium, large, extra large and shallow.
Buy the orange ones at the AT store. Or the entire selection at Plastica.
Blomus Open Fireplace, Open. WOW! I recommend ordering it along with a Kitchen/Garage Fire Extinguisher.
I am in love with the graph desk from cb2. A white beauty!
Martini Runner. I’ve seen it in person at abitare in Brooklyn Heights. It’s beautiful!
The Brazo Table & Floor Lamp by designer Pablo Pardo is making me look. Constructed of aluminum and glass, it can adjust 360 degrees for the most optimal lighting angle. The Brazo lamp comes with a high output, energy efficient LED lightbulb and a full-range dimmer.
You can now buy the fabulous OFFI Mag Table in Red, over at designpublic. Yay! It goes from table or seat to laptop stand with a simple flip. As a side table it stores your magazines while providing a surface for a cup of coffee or an extra seat.
Hanabi (fireworks party) is the name of this beautiful lamp, by japanese designer Endo. Closed when cold, and with petals opened when it becomes hotter due to the light bulb’s temperature. A lovely and original idea.
