taking knitting to extremes; flocks poufs
Flocks Poufs take knitting to extremes. Using extra-large knitting needles produced specifically for her enterprise, Christien Meindertsma’s Flocks Pouf (2006) is hand knit using strong wool from New Zealand crossbred sheep. The pouf is available in two sizes (medium: light grey, large: dark grey) to accommodate use as a seat, occasional table, ottoman or even as a purely organic sculpture. Hand knit in the Netherlands. Crazy dutch people. Hat tip!
Pkolino Klick Desk and Chair Set
We love the Pkolino Klick Desk that we got for our little Ella a while back. When the chair is pushed all the way back in, it’s a perfect cube and works well as an extra coffee table. We call it “Ella’s office” and it looks very important with the Chatter Telephone on it.
fatboy junior
Keep coming back to these. I wonder if a fatboy junior might fit under our christmas tree? Hmmm.. Ella what do you think?

simulate a window.
Simulate a window where none exists. The Bright Blind, designed by Makoto Hirahara, is made of a plain window blind over a lighting fixture. Simply turn the blinds, and filter the light as needed, just like you’d do with a window.

charles storage
“Charles Storage” had me rejoice. This is fantastic. I could definitely see this in our living room with a dual purpose: Toy storage by day and sidetable, ‘holding my wine glass while sitting on the sofa’, at night. Love it.
Hookbox
The simple, ceramic Hookbox (2005) was designed for the entryway, bathroom or any other space where you can use a hook and a storage container for small items. The Hookbox works great in multiples and can hold 12 lbs on the hook and 2 lbs in the storage container.
I would like one for our little Ella, so I can store her sippy cup, binky and blankie. Oh, and to hang her coat. But $270 might be pushing the budget a little bit on that one…

I just fell in love with a bed.
Not that our little Ella is outgrowing her toddler bed yet, but I keep wondering what’s going to be next? I just fell in love with this uber-stylish bed: Bett dn43. Check out the smart hidden storage. But hey, why do I always like the really expensive stuff? Mom?
