I am pretty sure my six year old would be gaga over this adorable shoe rack. It allows you to store up to 4 pairs of shoes in a small amount of space with. You can adjust the height between tiers for a custom fit.
If the pricetag wasn’t as hefty, I would totally get one of these Vintage Coolers for Studiomates, our co-working space.
Love this vintage inspired Bistro Bench.
This is the Murphy Bed of my Dreams. Completely Hidden.
A cabinet disguised as an old-looking TV. Ha!
This pendant lamp made me chuckle. It solves the problem of the leftover cord quite charmingly: Just stuff it into the crystal glass. Love that they use one of my alltime favorite German words in the product description: Kabelsalat (= cord salad) Designed and manufactured in Leipzig Germany, designed by David Danneberg. Two thumbs up!
Love this minimalist Storage Locker.
Talk about a kids rooms I wouldn’t mind living in myself.
This fabulous desk was created by the Dublin ad agency Boys and Girls for their own entryway reception area. Read over on DesignSponge what the gravity fighting secret behind it is!
Dirk Ploos van Amstel has created a seesaw for children that converts to a bench. YES!
The Courtesy Table by the Dutch designer Marleen Jansen is low on the practicality scale but wins lots of points for its entertainment and sculptural factor.

I had the pleasure to see Alvaro Soto demonstrate this beautiful lamp called Blime Light at last night’s Apartment Therapy Design Evening.
Blime Light is a DIY light fixture that ships in a teeny tiny box and then can be assembled at home. They are currently running a Kickstarter campaign and are offering a whopping 24 colors in card stock paper and a white version in 100% recycled and recyclable vellum. Totally backing this! Join me?
Bade Stageberg Cox collected 50 abandoned chairs on the streets of New York, repaired them and gave them a new life with a coat of taxi cab yellow paint. The bottom of each chair is stamped and documented with the date and location it was recovered. Lovely. Street Seats.
While I obviously don’t have the space for a Bedroom in a Box, I must say, I’d be intrigued to put this in a big giant loft, if I had one. I love furniture that challenges our usual perception of what they are supposed to look like or function. It was designed by Latvia based designer Rolands Landsbergs of Boxetti.

This modular shelving system by Leipzig based designer Yi-Cong Lu is brilliant. If needed, you can create more space by pullin on the drawers on the side. YES!
Malaysia-based designer Poh Liang’s Hold Chair has a seat and back that slide up the backrest frame. This separates the seat from the frame below it. The chair can then be slid onto the table. Why? Well, how often do you vacuum around dining table chair legs? Exactly.
Servus (latin for servant) is a clothing rack by German designer Florian Saul. It’s a beauty and I would want one if I’d still live by myself. Unfortunately we don’t have room for 4 of them in our apartment. Which makes me think, how cute would it be if there was a smaller version for the kids?

This beauty of a stool-wardrobe-thingy is by Rui Alves, force behind My Own Superstudio.

I wouldn’t mind having this Cacti clothing line set up in my backyard. Designed by Davy Grosemans.
