Plama Marble Run

The Marble Run 2d by Bernhard Burkard looks like a fabulous toy for kids and grownups alike. The entire set consists of 12 magnetic colorful shapes. It allows the user to create an infinite variety of paths on any magnetic surface. While the toy is not in use, it cleverly forms a rectangular shape that can act as abstract wall art or beautiful and simple decor.

Baggu

I have been a fan of Baggu for quite a while now, so I am seriously excited about their latest line of Backpacks.

Oh, and the Duck Bag is snazzy as well.

Great and affordable gift, if you ask me.

Sip-N-Spoon

Anyone with kids will nod their head in approval of this object called Sip-N-Spoon. It allows kids to eat their cereal and then drink the leftover milk right through the handle! But let’s not stop at cereal, think about how great finishing a bowl of ice cream is going to be when you have a milkshake to drink when you’re done!

Quick Pop Maker

I keep coming back to this Zoku Quick Pop Maker. And now I am trying to convince myself that ‘blogging about it is in fact the new buying’. Hopefully this post will keep me from hitting that buy button.

It looks like so much fun though. (sigh)

2011 Year You Were Born NYC Card

Do you have NYC friends that had a baby in 2011 or are just about to have one? This 2011 Year You Were Born Letterpress Card would make a lovely gift!

Leander Stool Set

Leander creates the most stunning children’s furniture around. Consider me a fan. First came the crib/toddler bed, that had me gasp for air and now the Leander Stool Set. Totally wishlisted for casa swissmiss. Hat tip off to Designer Tina Schmidt.

Lion

I fully agree with the Fab.com copy-writer: This mammoth crochet-knit sculpture of a life-sized lion’s head is a witty, whimsical commentary on the sport of hunting and taxidermy’s trophy exhibitionism.

How fun would this be in a kid’s room? (Even though, it might cause nightmares)

ABC Crayons

This 26 alphabet letter crayons set is definitely a cool gift for future type nerds.

President Block Set

These building blocks made me look. They showcase facial renderings of forty-four U.S. Presidents and also arranges into a grand American flag. Each cube presents a face, name, nickname, lifespan, party affiliation, term and number (1-44) in red, gray and blue ink. Cool 4th of July gift, in case you’re staying over at someone’s house with little ones. No?

Robole

I know, I know, I might as well just start a blog dedicated to just robots… But bear with me, and check out Robole. What an amazing toy. The possibilities are endless as all the pieces connect via magnets. I am giddy over this and Robole just jumped on the very top of my #wishlist. Now if only I spoke Polish.

Robot Stencil Kit

This Robot Stencil Kit looks like so much fun. Yay for robots!

Panda Pal

I know there are some serious Panda Loving People out there. If you’re on of them, you’ll enjoy this Panda Pal Speaker System. I can’t vouch for the sound quality, but it sure looks adorable.

MrTedi

Please meet the grown-up version of a Teddybear: MrTedi, made out of a mens shirt. I am smitten. Designed by Mrs Jermyn. #wishlisted

Wood Peg

Wood Peg, by Studio Gorms, is quite a refreshing furniture concept. It’s a flexible furniture system made up of simple components, which can be assembled in a variety of ways to accommodate a multitude of scenarios. It can be just as easily disassembled, using no tools or fasteners. All components can be hung from a peg rail on the wall creating pleasing abstract compositions. Made me look.

Hugo the Wild Boar

Hugo the Wild Boar won my heart.

The Designer’s Train Table

I gasped at the sight of this train table. I want one for my kids and then also a conference room sized one for my studio. Oh, the fun that could be had! Designed by Tomm Velthius.

LEGO Soap

What is it with me finding LEGO related stuff today? I don’t know, but here’s my last LEGO product post of the day: LEGO Soap.

Postcup™

The Postcup™ (postcard mug) is a refreshing take on the postcard concept. (Your greetings are permanent once baked.) Lovely idea! So, how’s that handwriting of yours?

LEGO Silverware

And while we’re at it, here’s some LEGO Silverware. Stackable, or course!

LEGO Lunchbox

First was the LEGO storage box, which I absolutely love, now here comes the LEGO lunchbox. Not necessarily practical but FUN! My favorite part is the drinking bottle!

Table Tots

Our neighbor Jim down the hall makes fantastic furniture out of reclaimed bowling alley wood. The other day I walked by and saw this beauty of a kids booth called Table Tots. My little ones would get such a kick out of sitting at it. Another one of my favorites is this simple stool. Oh, and if you’re into cooking you’d love this massive Cutting Board.

That’s How!

I am obviously a huge fan of Christoph Niemann. So it’s no surprise that I already pre-ordered his latest children’s book called That’s How!

Animal Tail Magnets

I can’t help but think that these animals are checking out what’s in my fridge. Animal Tail Magnets.
