My fabulous sister Charlotte, sent our little two week old man a fabulous gift from Switzerland: Name embroidered Blankies and pacifier clip! And I just discovered that the site owners updated their website with Tilo’s name. Fun!
Thank you sis!
These White Vintage Velcro Baskets would look fab on swissmister, no?
Grey Donkey Bodysuit by Bobo Choses. Awesome.
I just received the sweetest hand-written thank you note by one of my readers, Gisela Voss, thanking me for the inspiration she’s getting out of swissmiss. With the note, came a tub filled with these Pop Arty Beads which will make our almost four year old Ella’s head explode when I show it to her tonight!
(thank you Gisela!)
Typography Mobile from Veer: Each set of characters is laser cut from recycled back card and lined with colorful press sheets from Veer’s past marketing pieces. The typeface is Clarendon modified with Baskerville ornamentation.
Pardon the surge in baby related posts, but as you can tell, I am coming out of my denial: In about 10 days we will indeed have a newborn in our house. Time to get ready!
So I just discovered this cool and unique looking baby tub for the sink. Wonder how practical it really is but it sure looks smartly designed. I love the fact that it stores flat! (Totally wouldn’t work with our square modern sinks though, I assume)
UPDATE: I purchased one of these and it works like a charm! Gets my swissmiss two thumbs up! And yes, it works in a square sink. *Love* it! And I think tiny Tilo approves as well!
It’s time I learn how to make these Balloon Animals.
Our little Ella Joy would fully approve of this Charlie and Lola Puzzle. Not familiar with Charlie and Lola, check them out on youtube.
How cool is this? You can now customize your own Sigg Bottle over at CafePress. Love it.
(thank you larissa)
White PVC Table Cloth that you decorate yourself. The D.I.Y. Table Cloth changes as time goes by and more and more notes, drawings and decorations are added.
The TeaSub submerges tea leaves to the bottom of your cup, creating the perfect infusion of your favorite brew. I have feeling this would turn our little Ella Joy into a tea drinker.
UPDATE: You can pre-order it here.

Oh my, I need to get this awesome button down shirt for little swissmister, who is a mere 3.5 weeks away of arriving. Love it!
How much fun is this Test Pattern Puzzle? And while we’re at the Test Pattern Subject, check out the Wall Mounted Test Pattern Clock.

Silver (!) Kids Retro Bouncy Hopper.
How comfy does this Baby Barolo Sleeping Bag look? (Only 6-7 more weeks until swissmister will be keeping me busy day and night. Yes, I am finally coming out of my denial and am getting the necessary items for the little man. No, this sleeping bag is not part of it, but one can always look. It sure looks cozy.)
When I got home last night, our doorman handed me a huge box. For me? I asked? Yup, he said! I went upstairs and inside was this unbelievably awesome Calder-Looking Abstract Mobile by CB2, a lovely gift from my friend BB! Being a huge Calder Fan and dreaming of owning a real Calder Mobile one day, this totally made my holiday season.
Thank you BB!!
