Since Bugaboo’s U.S. launch in 2003, it has become the most sought-after stroller around. Its only drawbacks: size and folding difficulty. Finally, a more compact model: the Bee, above, the Dutch company’s first foldable stroller (it collapses with the press of a button), lands Stateside in September.

bus backpack
Considering how often I am singing the “wheels on the bus” song these days, I should really get Ella one of these zid zid kids Bus Backpack. A belated birthday gift maybe?
Cute!
rocking blanket
Our little Ella would love this rocking blanket!
Rabbit Scissors
With it’s sturdy plastic body and safe, rounded tips, these scissors disguised as a rabbit, are perfect for kids of all ages.
box1
Box1 is a great alternative to putting baby in a play pen. Place it directly on the floor and baby is surrounded by a soft cotton-covered polyurethane ring.
Great idea, a littley pricy though! And I wish they would show a picture with an actual baby/toddler in it. I don’t get a sense on how ‘high’ it actually is. I think I just want one for its sculputural quailties.
MobileHome Dollhouse
I am completely in love with these cardboard dollhouses, called MobileHome. What a cool gift!
cold cuts for vegetarians
My favorite kids toy brand Haba, has an interesting take on coldcuts:Biofino, Sliced Lunch Meats , made out of fabric! Love it!

shop enfant terrible
“The Dottie Dress” available at shopenfanterrible.com. (Absolutely love it, but a bit pricey… (sigh))
spaceframe sculpture kit
I want to be a kid these days – there are so many cool designy toys out there. Actually, never mind, I’ll buy this for myself and just play with it now. Way cool!
cool kids shoes
We took our little miss EllaBella shoe shopping today – for the first time. The store we went to was an established kids shoe store at the upper west side here in NYC and all the shoes they had for the wee little ones were either blue/green for boys or pink/white for girls. This pink-for-girls-thing is driving me completely coo-coo! Wish they would have had these Smiths. They are just way cool, stripey, fun.
Doll House by Kidsonroof
This incredible-looking toy house is made from corrugated cardboard, and has a simple-yet-ingenious combination of drop-in floor/wall/stairs and exterior doors and portholes. It stands less than 50cm tall, and either folds flat or stores all the accompanying toys like, well, like a box. 20 Euros, plus shipping. Amazing.

camel grabbing toy
I love this camel grabbing toy that I bought for Ella. I do not understand though why the front leg is longer than the others and has a knot in it.. Hmm..
egg press | childrens apparel
We all know EggPress makes stunning letterpress cards. I just discovered that they also offer Children’s Apparel. Cool!
maartje steenkamp highchair
Maartje Steenkamp’s Children’s Highchair had me look and then laugh! It’s a HighChair that is meant to shrink as the child grows. It comes with a hand saw and a set of instructions, and you are supposed to cut the legs off periodically as your child grows. What a concept! Ha! Uhm… What about a potential second/third child?
