I am tempted to buy this giant world map to keep track of all the CreativeMornings chapters that are going to launch over the course of the next few months. It’s a hand-pulled silkscreen print by iscreenyouscreen on Etsy. Pretty!
Robot Stencil Kit
This Robot Stencil Kit looks like so much fun. Yay for robots!
Curiosity
“Our number-one value isn’t in any of the skills we have. It’s that we’re essentially curious.”

City Boy Picnic Grill
Now this is a beauty of a portable grill. Not sure about its overall usability, but it sure looks designy. The City Boy Picnic Grill was designed by Klaus Aalto.

Hidden
Imagine an app that let’s you spy on the person that might have stolen your laptop. It’s called Hidden. If your computer is stolen, Hidden will show you where it is and who has it. When you activate tracking, Hidden will locate your stolen computer anywhere on the planet, collect photos of the thief and screen shots of the computer in use.
One Hidden user started a Tumblr Blog with the images the app was able to collect. Slightly awkward to look at the person who is using your computer.
(thank you Jessi)

EasySign Mobile
Did you ever have to sign a document but didn’t have a printer nearby? I did.
Overall, signing documents in this digital world is a cumbersome process. Print, sign, scan, email. EasySign is solving this problem. I am sold.

The Oona
This iPhone accessory called Oona made me look. (Watch the below video.)
Until June 3rd you can fund the Oona Kickstarter project for $25 and they will send you an Oona once production has begun. After the fund date an Oona can be purchased for $30. (I absolutely love the idea of putting the iphone on a rotating eggtimer to take panorama shots.)

Plutchik Emotion Circumplex
I agree with Luc Latulippe, this Emotion Circumplex by Plutchik is mesmerizing. Plutchik first proposed his cone-shaped model (3D) or the wheel model (2D) in 1980 to describe how emotions were related.
Read more about his theory of emotion over on Wikipedia.
Heath House Numbers
Heath Ceramics and House Industries teamed up and created Heath House Numbers, 3-dimensionals clay tiles. The tiles celebrate the legendary Neutra and Eames Number Fonts. Aren’t they beautiful? This makes me want to own a modern house where I can apply them outside, for the wold to see!
Vintage Marvels
I stumbled upon this post over at designworklife about an amazing Etsy shop called Vintage Marvels. They sell lovely selection of letterpress wood blocks. Dangerous territory for me. I couldn’t help but purchase the commas.
Ideas cause Ideas
“Ideas cause ideas and help evolve new ideas. They interact with each other and with other mental forces in the same brain, in neighboring brains, and thanks to global communication, in far distant, foreign brains.”
– Roger Sperry

♥ / Typekit
A big thank you to Typekit for sponsoring this week’s RSS feed.
Typekit is the easiest way to use real fonts on your website. Just copy and paste two lines of code, and you’re off: design just like you ordinarily would, and Typekit takes care of the rest. A huge library of high-quality fonts features the best of your old favorites (from Adobe, FontFont, and more), plus new classics from Mark Simonson, exljbris, Veer, and others. And, as our library expands, your subscription just gets better and better—the hardest part is deciding which font to use.
Life Strategy
“Your decisions about allocating your personal time, energy, and talent ultimately shape your life’s strategy.”
– Clay Christensen

Panda Pal
I know there are some serious Panda Loving People out there. If you’re on of them, you’ll enjoy this Panda Pal Speaker System. I can’t vouch for the sound quality, but it sure looks adorable.
spot.us / community funded reporting
Over lunch today spot.us was mentioned. It is an open source project to pioneer “community powered reporting.” Through Spot.Us the public can commission and participate with journalists to do reporting on important and perhaps overlooked topics. Contributions are tax deductible and they partner with news organizations to distribute content under appropriate licenses.
Interesting!
Authentic Jobs News
Yesterday was a big day for Authentic Jobs members like me. (Ever noticed that “Come in we’re hiring sign” on the left of my blog?) Authentic Jobs is a job listings site founded by the talented Cameron Moll, which specializes in connecting companies with creative professionals.
Authentic Jobs got a major facelift and some new added functionality. If you’re looking to find a job you can search by location, category, type of employment (full-time, contract, freelance or internship) and can even subscribe to Email/RSS notifications based on your search criteria.
Cameron and his team managed to create a realigned, adaptive layout that renders well on most web-enabled devices. And with this new version he is also taking it over to the UK where Elliot Jay Stocks, Jon Hicks and Sarah Parmenter are joining the crew.
Read the official announcement over at the Authentic Jobs blog.
Check out Authentic Jobs UK, the revamped site Authentic Jobs and don’t forget to enter the Touchscreen Tussle to win an iPad. Oh, and if you try the new site on your tablet or mobile device and your browser supports geolocation, try the “Locate me” feature for some magic.
Small Experiences
I have found that all positions men take in their beliefs are profoundly influenced by thousands of small, often imperceptible experiences that slowly accumulate to form a sum total of choices and decisions.

These amazing vintage roller derby skates make me feel a tad bit nostalgic.
