I spent the past 4 years checking out girls clothes for little Ella Joy. I am just slowly warming up to the idea of buying boys clothes… Not that Tilo is old enough for a raincoat yet, but this Limited Edition Car Print Raincoat by Polarn O.Pyret is simply adorable.
I truly enjoyed the 99% Conference 2010: Motion Graphics. In the spirit of making ideas happen, they evolve the identity of the 99% Conference every year. For the 2010 edition of this intimate gathering focused on creative execution, the motion graphics were all about bold colors and crisp, decisive movement.

Gesa Hansen, the charming designer behind this beauty of a desk visited swismiss studio yesterday. During her bubbly, delightful visit, Gesa told me about her friend Laura Strasser and the 14% hanging lamp. Each porcelain lampshade is a cast of the previous, larger shade and is itself the model for the next, smaller one.

Jay Parkinson will be the speaker at this month’s CreativeMornings. He is a pediatrician and preventive medicine specialist with a masters in public health. Fast Company calls him The Doctor of the Future and one of The Top 10 Most Creative People in Health Care. Esquire Magazine calls him one of 2009’s Best and Brightest Radicals & Rebels Who Are Changing the World. Jay runs a design and consulting firm called The Future Well. He designs products and services that have a positive impact on health and happiness.

Inspired by their previous experiment with paper signs, the guys of Aesthetic Apparatus decided to take the plunge and print actual plastic window signs. According to their site they are shiny and smell like a brand-new Barbie doll ass. Available for sale singularly or as a set of four.
