After spending a little too much time in front of the computer my friend Arianna thought she’d get back to basics and get her hands dirty. She makes these posters because cutting giant stacks of paper, setting wood type and scrubbing ink off her hands feels good.

Web Canvas
I have mentioned Methodologie’s ‘Sizer‘ last year and it was received with a lot of interest. @Royalbacon just informed me that it has been entirely revamped and is now a Firefox Plug-in.
The ideal “canvas” size for web design is a moving target. To keep better track of that target, Methodologie created the Web Canvas. It helps UI designers design websites with the largest possible area without leaving behind the majority of Internet users. Super-handy tool! Bookmarked (yet again!)
Typedia
Typedia is a brand-new community website to classify typefaces and educate people about them. Think of it like a mix between IMDb and Wikipedia, but just for type. Anyone can join, add, and edit pages for typefaces or for the people behind the type.
Congrats to the fabulous crew behind Typedia! Well done!
Notebook & Pencil Socks

If you live in GB and have a little one, do yourself a favor and snag this set of wooden magnets, produced in Czechoslovakia in the 70s. What a fantastic gift! (Sombebody (Melissa & Doug??) should reproduce a similar toy, I’d buy it for Ella!)
Eraser Brush
Oh, this Eraser Brush would have come in handy when I was at art school.
